New Adventure

As of June 1st, 2008 I have purchased a tanning salon in Lewisburg, PA. It is called Tanning World of Lewisburg. It has 7 lay down beds and 1 stand up unit. I have been repainting the inside and making some little changes. Here are some preview pics of what I have done so far and what the outside looks like.

1/2 Century...or is that 50th...???

Well, you only turn 50 or 1/2 Century once. And when you are the OLDEST of the siblings, the younger ones get to play. Okay Tobie turned 50 and Tracie and I had a long talk on our way back from moving Ang & Tobie back to NJ, about how to let her know how much we care. Since her nickname is Toad Frog, what a good way to start. So with Tracie being the crafty one, she laid out and cut the little frogs out of craft foam with Madies help. Made faces and some spray paint dots, cute frogs were born. Now about the big frog, how are people driving past the house going to understand 51 foam frogs mounted on three foot high stakes in the yard? Simple make a big 6 foot high frog and wish Tobie a Happy Birthday, just like a billboard. Again Tracie laid it out, I did the cutting this time, but she did the painting. And just to help the big frog, little frogs with signs were hung on the utility poles in each direction. So Tobie had a 51 frog army in her yard with a big frog leading the way, letting everyone who drove by it was her birthday. Okay so now to do the decorating. Tracie got Ang to take Tobie out to dinner on Friday night. I drove to Traices, loaded her car, the kids and off to NJ at 4:15. Three hours later we got Tobies and got to work. Since it would be dark before Tobie got home, we lit up the yard with three 500 watt lights, just to make sure that the frogs could be seen. Finally, 8:20 everything is done and now to wait for Tobie to get home. Needless to say, I had a long 20 hour day, but it was worth every hour of it. And the smile that was on Tobies face really made it all worth it. Happy 50th Birthday Tobie... Thanks to Tracie (the crafty one), Tina, Rick, Tommy, Jess, Angie, Sam, Josh, Madie and Ang for making it all possible. If I forgot anyone sorry. Enjoy the pics.
